Actor, Writer, CEO Scattered Pictures

Kim has worked as an Actor, Presenter, Writer and Producer for twenty-five years, with a career spanning comedy, drama and documentary.  In 2022, she was included in the Top 10 most influential disabled people in the UK (Shaw Trust Power 100).

Kim got her first TV break as a Presenter for BBC's Disability Today and From The Edge and went on to play Penny Pocket in four series of BAFTA award winning, Balamory. In 2020, Kim won a Royal Television Society Award for best drama performance for her leading role in Obsession (BFI Network).

Kim set up production company, Scattered Pictures, in 2011. Based in Kim’s home city of Newcastle, the company is focused on underrepresented talent.

Kim has received TV drama and comedy writing commissions from BBC, ITV and Channel 4 and is currently commissioned to co-write two feature films.

Kim has chaired industry events for RTS, BFI and Netflix.
