In 2024 the Creative Cities Convention is being held in Bristol.
Hosted by renowned journalist and broadcaster, Kirsty Wark, the event, which takes place over two-days, is the perfect meeting place for media people to discuss and debate the industry while getting valuable insights from a speaker programme of experts.

Trains
Meet Bristol & Bath and Great Western Railway are pleased to offer reduced rail fares for conference delegates travelling at any time to Bristol from eligible Great Western Railway stations including London Paddington. Standard return travel between London Paddington and Bristol Temple Meads (central Bristol) is available at the reduced rate of £44.00 on any service, including peak trains.
Outbound tickets are fixed, and times and dates cannot be changed. The return journey is fully flexible. Our conference fares are only available to delegates. You will be asked to produce a confirmation proving that you are eligible for this fare by the Train Manager. This could be an event registration e-mail for example.
How to Book
Conference fares are only available at GWR.com/conference follow the link, select your destination, and complete the form. In the 'To' box, please make sure Bristol Conference is selected as your destination, this will automatically add the discounted fare for you. Select your travel dates, times, number of passengers and preferred class and click search. You will then be able to see all available trains and continue to book as you normally would.
Bristol Beacon is a 24-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station or a 12-minute bus journey.
Parking
We encourage delegates to travel via public transport where possible. If you are planning on arriving by car then please read information on Bristol’s Clean Air Zone prior to travel.
